Two women who tried to undermine the judge and set fire to a military car were detained

A resident of Poltava received an offer from an employee of the Russian special services via Telegram to set fire to the car of a Ukrainian defender for money. The woman agreed and involved her 33-year-old friend in the illegal activity.
In a hypermarket, they purchased the necessary components, with which they made a flammable mixture, doused, and set fire to a car parked in the parking lot, which is used by a serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
One agent was detained by law enforcement in Poltava at her place of residence. Her older accomplice was apprehended in Dnipropetrovsk region while carrying out another task for the representative of the Russian special services. According to the investigation, she found a previously hidden explosive device and planted it under a judge's car. During the attempt to activate the device, the suspect was detained.
The pre-trial investigation is being conducted under the procedural guidance of the Poltava Regional and Dnipro Specialized Prosecutor's Offices in criminal proceedings by investigators of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Poltava and Dnipropetrovsk regions. Comprehensive measures to expose the suspects were carried out jointly with the staff of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Poltava region.
Depending on the committed acts, prosecutors have notified the accomplices of suspicion under Part 2 of Article 28, Part 1 of Article 114-1, and Part 2 of Article 258 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Note: According to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a court verdict.
