The Voznesensk District Prosecutor's Office of Zaporizhzhia ensured the actual enforcement of the Economic Court's decision on its own claim for the recovery of a debt to the local budget from a company that used a land plot of 0.5 hectares in the city center free of charge.

Prosecutors proved in court that the enterprise acquired warehouse and administrative buildings with an area of over 3,000 square meters. Subsequently, in 2015, the Zaporizhzhia City Council transferred the land plot on which the mentioned property is located to the company for use. At the same time, the business entity, contrary to the requirements of the law, did not formalize a land lease agreement and did not pay funds for the use of the plot to the community budget.

Realizing the consequences of failing to comply with the court decision, including the possible forced sale of its real estate, the debtor repaid over 2 million UAH of the debt.
