Prosecutors of the Pavlohrad District Prosecutor's Office informed the director of the company about the suspicion regarding the misappropriation of budget funds and official forgery (Part 4 of Article 191, Part 1 of Article 366 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). 

According to the investigation, in November 2022, the director of the company developed a scheme for the embezzlement of budget funds allocated by the Yuryivka Village Council of the Pavlohrad District for the reconstruction of the heating system in the lyceum. 

Knowing for certain that the cost and volume of the construction work performed were inflated and did not correspond to the project documentation, the suspect signed and stamped the acts of completed work. 

The village council unjustifiably transferred 20,000 UAH of budget funds to the account of the contracting company.  

The issue of choosing a preventive measure for the suspect is being resolved.

The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by investigators of the Pavlohrad District Police Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the region. 

Note: according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a guilty verdict of the court.
