Collected data on air defense, equipment and positions of artillery: the prosecutor's office directed the cases of Russian agents in court

Prosecutors of the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office have sent indictments to the court regarding 10 agents of the Russian Federation for acts of treason (Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Among them is one directed by the deputy head of the regional prosecutor's office. It concerns a resident of Donetsk region who provided the occupiers with 22 coordinates of the locations of Ukrainian facilities. Subsequently, the occupiers struck at least 2 of these locations.

Ten citizens from various regions of Ukraine also joined in collaborating with representatives of the Russian special services and military formations of the aggressor state. Residents of Kostiantynivka, Kramatorsk, and Udachny acted mainly in frontline areas, while those from Kyiv, Apostolove, and Dnipro operated in the rear, but within strategically important directions.

The accused transmitted military-related data, including information about the movement and locations of personnel and equipment of the Defense Forces, including repair units. In addition, the traitors were interested in the positions of air defense, electronic warfare, artillery fire zones, and critical and civilian infrastructure facilities. Some of them reported on the consequences of strikes, sending videos and marking points on maps.

The accused are awaiting court sentences in custody. The pre-trial investigation and operational support are conducted by the Main Directorate of the Security Service of Ukraine in Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

The sanction of the article provides for imprisonment for a term of fifteen years or life imprisonment, with confiscation of property.
