Prosecutors of the Kyiv Regional Prosecutor's Office have sent an indictment to the court regarding the former first deputy head of the Bila Tserkva District State Administration, whose actions caused the state losses of over 1 million UAH.

The investigation established that the head of the administration, abusing his power, illegally issued an order for the sale of a state land plot to a private enterprise without conducting mandatory land auctions.

Based on this order, he concluded a purchase and sale agreement, thereby unlawfully favoring the private enterprise. 

As a result, the state lost over 1 million UAH, as confirmed by the conclusion of a forensic examination.

The official has been notified of suspicion under Part 2 of Article 364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (abuse of power or office that caused serious consequences).

The indictment with the civil claim of the prosecutor for damages has been sent to the court.

We remind you that according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a guilty verdict of the court.
