Under the procedural guidance of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor's Office, a resident of Lviv region has been exposed, who, according to the investigation, agreed in July this year to a job offer in a Telegram channel, presumably from a representative of the Russian Federation. Her "job" involved collecting data useful for the occupiers.

To fulfill the task, the informant arrived at the specified coordinates and took a photo that captured the location of one of the units of the Air Command "West" of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The woman sent this snapshot to the client via messenger. Subsequently, the enemy instructed her to purchase and install a camera there, which was to remotely monitor the activities of the air defense.

The suspect was detained in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine – after the installation of the "video trap" and reporting to the client.

She is charged with disseminating information about the location of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the possibility of their identification in the area (part 2 of Article 114-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

At the request of the prosecution, the suspect has been chosen a preventive measure in the form of detention without the possibility of bail.

The pre-trial investigation in the criminal proceedings is being conducted by investigators of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Lviv region.

Note: according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a court verdict.
