Генеральний прокурор Руслан Кравченко сьогодні провів зустріч із делегацією посольств країн G7 та головою Представництва Європейського Союзу в Україні.

Участь у заході також взяли перший заступник та заступники Генерального прокурора.

Делегацію G7 представляли Посол Канади Наталка Цмоць, в.о. заступника Посла США Джонас Стюарт, Тимчасово повірена у справах Великої Британії Шарлотта Сюрен, Перший секретар Посольства Німеччини Мілена Кляйне, Посол Італії Карло Формоза, Тимчасово повірений у справах Франції Себастьєн Сюрен, Посол Японії Масаші Накаґоме. Від Представництва ЄС в Україні участь взяв заступник голови Гедимінас Навіцкас.

На початку зустрічі Генеральний прокурор подякував країнам G7 та ЄС за політичну, гуманітарну, фінансову та безпекову підтримку України, яка вже понад 11 років виборює свою незалежність як на полі бою, так і на дипломатичному фронті.

Руслан Кравченко окреслив ключові напрями роботи ОГП, наголосивши, що пріоритетом є розслідування міжнародних злочинів росії та робота над створенням Спеціального трибуналу щодо злочину агресії для відновлення справедливості.

Ще одне важливе завдання для органів прокуратури є захист прав дітей. «Наш головний фокус – повернення всіх депортованих росією українських дітей. В цьому контексті я хочу подякувати всім присутнім за допомогу, яку надають ваші країни, аби кожна наша дитина повернулась додому», - наголосив Руслан Кравченко.

Водночас Генеральний прокурор розповів про виклики, з якими стикається прокуратура під час цієї роботи. Це насамперед велика кількість проваджень, які розслідуються та складнощі зі збором доказів на прифронтових територіях.

Під час зустрічі також обговорили питання захисту іноземних інвестицій та бізнесу в Україні. Генеральний прокурор поінформував, що за ініціативи ОГП створено портал «СтопТиск» для оперативного реагування на порушення прав підприємців.

На завершення сторони подякували за змістовну зустріч та запевнили у готовності продовжувати конструктивний діалог у майбутньому.

Ruslan Kravchenko met with G7 Ambassadors and the Deputy Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine: the parties discussed key priorities and further cooperation 

Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko today held a meeting with the Delegation of Embassies of the G7 countries and the Deputy Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine.

The First Deputy and Deputy Prosecutors General also took part in the event.

The G7 Delegation was represented by Ambassador of Canada to Ukraine Natalka Cmoc, Acting Deputy US Ambassador Jonas Stewart, Chargé d'affaires of Great Britain Charlotte Suren, First Secretary of the German Embassy Milena Kleine, Italian Ambassador to Ukraine Carlo Formosa, Chargé d'affaires of France Sébastien Suren, Ambassador of Japan to Ukraine Masashi Nakagome. Deputy Chairman Gediminas Navickas took part from the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Prosecutor General expressed his gratitude to the G7 countries and the EU for their political, humanitarian, financial and security support to Ukraine, which has been fighting for its independence both on the battlefield and on the diplomatic front for more than 11 years.

Ruslan Kravchenko outlined the key areas of the Prosecutor General’s Office activity, emphasizing that the priority is the investigation of russia's international crimes and work on the establishment of the Special Tribunal for the Crime of Aggression against Ukraine to restore justice.

Another important task for the Prosecutor’s Office is the protection of children's rights. «Our main focus is – the return of all Ukrainian children deported by russia. In this context, I want to make acknowledgment to everyone present for the assistance provided by your countries so that each of our children returns home», Ruslan Kravchenko emphasized.

At the same time, the Prosecutor General noted about the challenges faced by the Prosecutor's Office during this activity. This is, first of all, a large number of proceedings that are being investigated and difficulties with the collection of evidence in the front-line territories.

During the meeting, the issue of protection of foreign investments and business in Ukraine was also discussed. The Prosecutor General informed that on the initiative of the Prosecutor General’s Office, the «StopPressure» portal was created for prompt response to violations of the rights of entrepreneurs.

In conclusion, the parties conveyed their appreciation for the meaningful meeting and reaffirmed their readiness to continue the constructive dialogue in the future.
