Under the procedural guidance of the Zhovtovodsk District Prosecutor's Office, a resident of the Kamianske district was notified of suspicion on October 31, 2025, for the illegal acquisition, production, and storage of narcotic substances with the intent to sell in especially large quantities (Part 3 of Article 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, since the fall of 2024, the suspect had been producing cannabis on the territory of his own household in the Kamianske district, which he packaged and stored for further sale.

During a sanctioned search of the man's residence, law enforcement officers discovered and seized over 8 kg of cannabis worth nearly 2 million UAH.

The illegal activities were uncovered in collaboration with investigators from the Police Department No. 6 of the Kamianske District Police in the Dnipropetrovsk region. 

Note: According to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a guilty verdict of the court.
